We love this gorgeous combination of chocolate and hazelnut liqueur, and it so quick and easy to make. The rich, velvety texture, effortlessly marries the deep flavours of chocolate and the nutty undertones of Frangelico. Perfect for drizzling over desserts or as a dip, this versatile sauce can easily be customised by substituting the Frangelico with other spirits such as rum or amaretto, allowing you to tailor the flavour profile to your preference.

75g cream, thickened 35%
75g full cream milk
20g caster sugar
100g dark chocolate, buttons or block chopped into coarse chopped
15g Frangelico – hazelnut liqueur

To start… weigh out your ingredients.

In a saucepan... place the cream, milk and sugar, and bring to the boil.

To finish... the heat and stir in the chopped chocolate or chocolate buttons. Stir to a smooth sauce and add the Frangelico to taste, serve immediately.
