Green Smoothie Bowl

Anything green is generally very good for you so why not combine them all into a delicious and nutritious breakfast? After all we should reward our bodies with exactly what they need, especially after tasting all those sweets. This smoothie will leave you rejuvenated and ready to face the busy day ahead. So easy, so healthy and so so tasty.

Follow my recipe or literally just go for it with your own favourite ingredients. Serve with a topping of your favourite ingredients including Honey Baked Granola or Caramelised Pumpkin Seeds.

SMOOTHIE

2 spinach, big handfuls
2 whole kiwi, peeled, sliced & frozen
2 whole Apple, green, unpeeled, core removed and chopped into chunks
1 whole Avocado, halved, peeled, stone removed and chopped into chunks
2 whole Banana, peeled, sliced and frozen
1 whole Cucumber sliced
1 ice, handful

TOPPING SUGGESTIONS

 Kiwi, sliced
 apple, sliced
 Candied Pumpkin Seeds
 Honey Baked Granola

Place the kiwi fruit and banana into a freezer to freeze overnight.

Put two freezer proof serving bowls into the freezer overnight if eating at home or you can have this on the go in your drinks bottle.

Next morning add all of the ingredients along with the ice into a bar blender and blend until you have a thick green sorbet consistency smoothie, transfer to serving bowls and finish with the topping or toppings of your choice.
