100g caster sugar

For the syrup… Add the water and sugar to a small saucepan and stir with a spoon. Place the pan onto a medium heat and bring to a boil, stir to dissolve the sugar. Remove from the heat and leave to cool. Strain the syrup through a sieve and store in a container in the fridge until needed.
